On September 26, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick, over 400 business professionals and 20 exhibitors were on hand at the first annual New Jersey Clean Energy Conference and Leadership Awards.

During the one-day event, featuring clean energy seminars and speakers, the first New Jersey Clean Energy Leadership Awards were presented to winners in 5 categories. These businesses and organizations were honored because they made the powerful choice to implement energy efficient and renewable energy technologies to benefit their business and communities. They recognized that clean energy is smart business. Congratulations to all the winners.
