Oil, Propane, Cooperative and Municipal Electric Customers

Select commercial and industrial components of New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program (NJCEP) are now available to New Jersey oil, propane, cooperative and municipal electric customers that previously were not eligible for incentives under the program. Commercial and Industrial customers served by non investor-owned utilities are eligible to participate in the following NJCEP initiatives: Local Government Energy Audit or Direct Install. Funding is provided through the State Energy Program (SEP) and all projects must be completed in accordance with all laws, codes and other requirements applicable under federal, state and local authority.

Residential customers of municipal electric utilities, rural electric cooperatives and those heating with oil or propane are also eligible for rebates from New Jersey's Clean Energy Program. Details are available here.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENERGY AUDIT
Select from a list of pre-qualified firms and, after a thorough analysis of your buildings, you'll receive a detailed energy audit report with a list of cost-justified energy efficiency measures. The cost of the audit is 100% subsidized. Local Government Energy Audits are available for public school districts pursuing an Energy Savings Improvement Program (ESIP).

DIRECT INSTALL
Direct Install - Created specifically for existing small to medium-sized facilities, Direct Install pays up to 70% of the project cost for replacing lighting, HVAC and other outdated operational equipment with energy efficiency alternatives. A network of participating contractors assess facility needs and implement the approved upgrades.
