Mass Transit Information

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities strongly urges attendees to use the various mass transit options available to them. Using mass transit will further help New Jersey’s environment by reducing emissions from cars.

The New Brunswick Hyatt Regency is convenient to many modes of transportation:

  • The hotel is just 2 blocks from the New Jersey Transit train station, with trains running regularly throughout the day
  • Suburban Transit buses, which run every half hour on weekdays from the Port Authority, drop off 1 block from the hotel
  • Amtrak has convenient train service to New Brunswick from Philadelphia on weekday evenings

If just 100 attendees used mass transit instead of driving a mid-size car 75 miles roundtrip to the Conference, we could avoid over 8,200 lbs. of CO2 emissions. For those same 100 attendees, using mass transit instead of driving an SUV will avoid over 11,600 lbs. of CO2 emissions.
