Green Building Design
Green buildings are starting to emerge in New Jersey’s built environment. New Jersey now hosts nine “green buildings” certified through the USGBC LEED Green Building Rating System, with more to follow. Green buildings are energy efficient, water efficient, reduce the waste generated by construction projects, and promote the health and productivity of their occupants.
