RPS Rule Revisions Stakeholder Group

 

BPU is proposing amendments to the regulations governing New Jersey’s Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) at N.J.A.C. 14:8-2. The New Jersey Electric Discount and Energy Competition Act, N.J.S.A. 48:3-49 et seq. (EDECA) provides the foundation for these standards, authorizing the BPU to adopt, readopt, and amend them.  Amendments are need to the RPS rules to reflect recent program improvements and updates and to support the State's Energy Master Plan (EMP).
