What is NJ CleanPower Choice

The New Jersey CleanPower Choice Program, from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities’ Office of Clean Energy, is the first statewide program of its kind with multiple utilities and clean power marketers participating in a joint effort with a state to give consumers access to a regional renewable energy market.

Participating electric distribution companies include PSE&G; Jersey Central Power & Light, Atlantic City Electric, and Orange & Rockland’s Rockland Electric Company. CleanPower suppliers include Green Mountain Energy Co., Community Energy Inc., and Sterling Planet, Inc.

Investing in the CleanPower Choice Program gives residents an opportunity to help reduce energy usage and lower greenhouse gas emissions and is just one of the many ways New Jersey residents and businesses can be a part of Governor Corzine's overall energy vision for New Jersey's Clean Energy future to help protect the environment.
