Energy Efficiency Stakeholder Group

Upcoming Meetings - Dec 13 & 18

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities will be soliciting technical stakeholder input on cost recovery through a second technical working group meeting. Additional information related to this technical working group meeting will be available within the week. The Public Notice for this meeting is available here.

Location:     The War Memorial, Delaware River Room, 1 Memorial Drive, Trenton, NJ

Stakeholders interested in submitting comments, regardless of whether they attend the public meetings, may file written comments with the Secretary of the Board of Public Utilities at 44 South Clinton Avenue, 9th Floor, Post Office Box 350, Trenton, New Jersey 08625-0350, Attn: Aida Camacho-Welch or electronically to EnergyEfficiency@bpu.nj.gov in PDF or Word format. Written comments must be received on or before December 27, 2019 and should reference “Cost Recovery 2” in the subject line.

NJBPU Staff continues its efforts to engage with stakeholders about New Jersey’s energy efficiency transition. As previously noticed, Staff intends to hold several issue-specific public stakeholder sessions on this topic.

This is the third meeting in this energy efficiency transition meeting series, and it will comprise two topics. The first topic will focus on the evaluation, measurement, and verification (EM&V) of energy efficiency and peak demand reduction programs. The second topic will focus on filing and reporting requirements for energy efficiency programs. The Public Notice for this meeting is available here.

Additional information will be provided in advance of the meeting to facilitate robust engagement.

Staff expects to schedule at least two more stakeholder meetings about the future of energy efficiency and peak demand reduction programs in New Jersey.
