The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities recently approved $900,000 to provide three grants of $300,000 each to enhance existing "green" jobs training programs current being funded by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The three recipients include the following non-profit organizations:
Training Courses NJCEP provides training sessions for all renewable energy installers involved in the renewable energy incentive program (REIP) and the SREC registration program (SRP). All courses are taught by NJCEP program managers. In-person trainings will be focused exclusively on market development in the financial services industry, and for wind and biopower projects. In-person solar installer trainings will be replaced with webinars.

Come for a refresher or join us for the first time to discuss: The relationship of the heating system to the distribution system efficiency; What happens to the water heater when changing out to a high-efficiency furance or boiler; Potential back-drafting issues with today's domestic water heaters; Ways to up-sell better equipment, larger and safer products; New furance efficency standards. By participating in this FREE seminar, contractors who perform work in NJNG’s service territory will receive a one year membership to Eastern Heating & Cooling Council (a $150 value). Already a member? Receive a $150 credit toward a future EHCC seminar, valid until 12/31/12. Excludes contractors who received a paid membership or credit in 2011.
