What is ENERGY STAR?
To earn the ENERGY STAR, products must meet or exceed energy-efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Energy (DOE). Innovative components, such as highly efficient compressors and electronic sensors, give products that have earned the ENERGY STAR many advantages over conventional models. With advanced features and performance, these products offer a smart way to save energy and money.
Look for the ENERGY STAR on many items, including lighting, appliances, home electronics, programmable thermostats, office equipment, home heating and cooling equipment, and more!
